Slatemark.

Closed beta. Access by invitation: access@slatemark.ai

Free for research. $29.99 for live trading.

Start free with the full primary-source data hub, the trade journal, and the senior-analyst skill. No card, no expiry, no “until your trial ends.” Upgrade to Pro when you want your AI looking at your broker quotes, options with greeks, and your actual positions. Cancel anytime; your journal stays.

  • Slatemark doesn't recommend specific trades on any plan. Your AI client does the analysis; we ship the read-only data, the journal, and the framework rules it uses.
  • No performance claim. We don't measure your returns and we don't claim to improve them. We ship a methodology; you ship trades.
  • Not an AI subscription. You bring your own: Claude, Cursor, OpenCode. Pro adds the data surface, not the model.
  • Bring your own vendor keys. Each data vendor (FRED, EIA, SEC EDGAR, CFTC, FINRA on Free; Massive News and Finnhub on Pro) needs a free key from the vendor, with registration taking under a minute. Paste into the dashboard and the matching tools light up; skip a vendor and its tools stay off. Every key is independently enable/disable-able from the dashboard, so you can pause a metered vendor without having to re-paste it later.

Common questions

Cancel anytime?
Yes. Pro is month-to-month via Stripe; cancel from your dashboard and Pro access continues through the current billing period. Free stays Free. No surprise charges, ever.
What happens to my journal if I downgrade?
Nothing. Every trade you've journaled, every rule override, every skill slot stays exactly where it is. The only things you lose are the Pro data sources (broker, news, earnings, estimates) and the rate-limit headroom.
Do I need a broker?
No. Free includes a built-in delayed-quote feed, so the analysis surface works out of the box. Linking a broker on Pro (Schwab today; more on the roadmap) unlocks real-time quotes, full option chains with greeks, and your actual positions and transactions for journaling.
Is my broker data safe?
Broker tokens are encrypted at rest per user, isolated to your own account, and never leave our infrastructure. We use read-only broker permissions: Slatemark literally cannot place trades, transfer funds, or modify your account.
Whose data?
Yours. Journal entries, account profile, rule overrides, and broker tokens are scoped per user and encrypted at rest with a key unique to this environment. We don't sell, share, or train models on your data.
Do I need API keys for the data vendors?
One free key per vendor you want to use: FRED, EIA, SEC EDGAR (User-Agent only), CFTC (optional), FINRA on Free; Massive News and Finnhub on Pro. Registration with each vendor takes under a minute. Paste the key into the dashboard once and the matching tools light up. Keys you don't add stay off, and the tools they'd unlock return a credential_required error to your AI client pointing back to the editor. Every key is independently enable/disable-able, so you can pause a metered vendor without having to re-paste it later.
Why isn't everything free?
Pro adds the per-user broker (Schwab live quotes, real Greeks, your accounts and positions) and the metered data vendors (Massive News, Finnhub earnings & estimates), plus 8× the request budget and tighter cache TTLs. Free runs on primary-source data hubs whose vendor APIs are free for personal use. Register a key with each, and the tools work indefinitely.
